Discovering a new pub is always an exciting experience particularly when you stumble upon one that comes complete with its own purpose-built butcher’s shop. It’s doubly exciting when you discover that the proprietor runs a farm down the road and it’s his livestock and vegetables that are sold in the shop and feature on the menu. I am talking about The Pointer, a newly-renovated pub in the centre of the charming red-brick village of Brill....
