At The Pointer we have a modern open-plan kitchen where you can see our Chefs at work. Our Head Chef Mini uses the seasons to create classic British food with a creative twist showcasing the very best produce we have to offer.
We are committed to using seasonal ingredients wherever we can and believe in growing, harvesting and rearing produce ourselves.
We breed English Longhorn cattle, Kune Kune and Tamworth pigs and most of our meat – the very best free-range British beef, pork, lamb and chicken – comes from our own farm or from the surrounding area – so expect to find some surprises on the menu from time to time. We couldn’t be further from the sea in Bucks so our fish which is wild and sustainably caught, has to travel.
The beautiful restaurant space, opened right up to the eaves with vaulted ceilings and antique Ercol chairs is warm, light and elegant. You can also dine in the bar, the gardens or by the fire.
Our online menu is updated weekly but may change in line with the best ingredients we have that week.
